Our Mission

Enrich the lives of George Mason University Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.

How We Do It?

Mason Hillel was established in 1984 as the first Jewish student organization at GMU. Since then, Mason Hillel has grown significantly and is an active presence on campus. From serving a few dozen students two decades ago, Mason Hillel now connects with more than 175 students a year. We are the main campus provider for Jewish-related programs, classes, cultural events, and Israel connections on campus, while also working with other Jewish partners on campus, such as the AEPi fraternity, Chabad at GMU, and the Israel Student Association, to enlarge our outreach and presence.
